Widely renowned as the best of the Dragonball Z games and the last Super Famicom release.

Just like many of it's predecessors Hyper Dimension is a one-on-one fighting game but unlike them it is not just a rehash of the previous but with more characters or frames of animation. This is a complete overhaul of the fighting game engine. The sprites are tougher looking and well rendered if a little sluggish. But this isn't the only difference.

The main game is a sort of story battle. You control two characters and if one is beaten the other has a go. You fight enemies as they appear in the story. Hyper Dimension also features the usual player Vs player/computer and team tournament options too making it definitely a good game but it's not good enough to beat the Anime beat-em-up king 'Gundam Wing: Endless Duel'.
