An RPG (Role Playing Game) game based on Yuzo Takada's popular story.

As you would expect all the in game text is Japanese so progress is pretty tricky for anyone who can't read the language. Sadly though, due to being an early release in the Super Famicom's life, the game isn't that good any way. The graphics are pretty bland and the battles are particularly uninspired.

When the battle begins the screen wobbles like the picture isn't tuned in properly. Then you are faced with the enemies. A small picture of your first character appears in the top corner of the screen. You choose to attack and a big, chunky, green arrow appears for you select the enemy with. A 'Phantasy Star III' style slash flashes across the enemy character and that's it. Not very exciting.

The poor, half hearted, presentation let's this game down. Maybe if I could appreciate the story I'd enjoy this game more but purely from appearances this really isn't all that good.
