A shoot-em-up based on the characters of the TV series.

You control the Tekkaman suit around the screen fending off alien attackers with his lance. At the end of each stage you meet with a boss enemy who you battle in a 'Street Fighter 2' style one-on-one.

Sadly there are no missiles or lasers so you have to get up close to the oncoming enemies to attack them. The music is standard Super Famicom stuff and the graphics are quite good. The standard shoot then fight gameplay wears a bit thin eventually.

A good game that tries something new but shoot-em-up fans will be disappointed at the lack of long range weapons.
