Sailor Moon

N/A

An eight level, two player 'Final Fight' style beat-em-up.

You get to choose your character from Sailor Venus, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter and, of course, Moon. There are three buttons you use to control them with, attack, jump and special. Attack does the standard 'Final Fight' style combo as well as allowing you to perform knee or throw attacks if you grab the opponent. You also have two dash attacks you can perform while running.

The special attack allows you to clear the screen of enemies via one of your character's signature moves. During the game you collect blue crystals. You can collect a total of four crystals and the move you perform will vary depending on the amount of crystals you are carrying as does it's damaging effects. When you activate your special attack your character appears in front of the screen and performs her animated move!

The graphics are pretty good. The sprites are quite large and well animated although the backgrounds are rather standard beat-em-up quality. The sound is also good but the music is rather basic and lacking. The game itself is quite good although nothing special or particularly different from any other 'Final Fight' clone.
It does get very hard due to the vast amount of enemies that flood the screen so it's useful to have a friend to help out!

Fans of the show will love it and others should enjoy it too.
