Maison Ikkoku

A 'Graphic Adventure' game based on Rumiko Takahashi's Manga/TV series.

Very similar to the 'Bubblegum Crash!' game. You see the area in a small window and control the game via the Japanese text options down the side of the screen.

The music is fine and changes as things happen. But exactly what your are supposed to be doing (and how you are actually do it) I don't know. Unlike with the BGC game the options are Kanji and not pictoral icons so progression is very much based on extensive trial and error.

It may be possible to play by muddling through but not a game I've enjoyed.
This game is a conversion of the Microcabin PC98/MSX game released the same year.
