Mobile Suit Gundam Z

Hot Scramble

The first thing that struck me about Z Gundam is how ancient the graphics are even for an old Famicom game. It starts out as a standard sight-shooter.

If you live through these levels it becomes a platform shooter. Once again the graphics are, at best, plain. You can transform your mecha into a jet to enable you to get to hard to reach places.

Eventually you should find a boss which, due to the difficult control method, is extremely tricky to beat.

The music is reasonable Famicom stuff but the graphics are extremely sparse.
