Continuing on from the small series of "Raising" games that hit the PC around the end of the nineties. Shito Ikusei has the player in charge of raising a newly discovered species of Angel.
Interaction with you new charge is simple via onscreen menus. The heavy amounts of Japanese text in this game will make it tough for foreign players.
It seems that the Bandai WonderSwan was quite a testing ground for these unusual concepts from Anime tie-ins. I'm sure Eva fans would have much preferred a simple action game or RPG.
The graphics are good and perfectly clear despite the lack of colour. The WonderSwan's limited sound capabilities churn out a recognisable rendition of the Evangelion theme that shouldn't grate on the nerves too much.
Not of much interest to anyone other than die-hard fans is my guess. |
