A standard platformer based on the popular Osamu Tezuka Manga character.
The proceedings are very cartoony from the Mario style walking sound to the colourful backgrounds and baddies. You control Astroboy as he jumps around the various similar stages. He can punch and jump but he can also charge up for a rocket propelled punch or simply use his ability to fly.
The music is really just standard SNES stuff and the graphics hardly push the machine. Really for fans of the character or young children. |
